FACILITIES & SERVICES
Our community needs family-friendly places for people to gather and fellowship. At Steele Creek Community Place, there truly is something for everyone. Whatever your interests are, we cater to all ages in order to promote an educated, cultured and enriching community in the greater Steele Creek/Lake Wylie areas. We will provide an array of services that are sure to keep you busy all year long.

A PLACE FOR CONNECTION
To celebrate diversity and promote unity:
The Steele Creek Community Place will be a large, comfortable environment for all residents of the greater Steele Creek/Lake Wylie areas to gather for work, play, support, interaction, and connection, with extended hours of 6 am to 8:30 pm.

LARGE SPACES FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND CORPORATIONS
The Steele Creek Community Place will offer large spaces for organizations and corporations to gather for training, meeting, planning, or providing services to help individuals.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR FAMILIES
The Steele Creek Community Place will offer a safe and comfortable environment for families to interact, play, walk and learn together.

STEELE CREEK COMMUNITY PLACE
Vision: A place where needs, conversations and solutions meet, and lives are transformed.
Mission: Provide a large comfortable environment to connect people with program services, organizations with meeting/training space, individuals and families with safe, exciting environments to interact and those feeling isolated with vital connections, so that all may experience value, joy and a hopeful future.
Purpose: Unify our diverse community into a common goal that celebrates each person, identifies and elevates the well-being and future for families and individuals.

WHAT PROGRAMS OR ACTIVITIES WILL BE OFFERED?
The beauty of the Steele Creek Community Place is its only limitation to services offered to the community is the willingness of the community to offer them. The space will be open to all kinds of services that will develop over the years. Initially there is a weekly Wednesday food distribution, tutoring, after school and preschool programs.
ARE THERE FEES FOR USE?
That depends on the services or programs you are interested in. Pre and after schools have program fees. A space for tutoring, gathering for conversation or using the playground with kids and families are free. Many program services will be free. The café and playground are free. Food and drink services will have a cost. Rental fees will apply in reserving organization and team space for meetings, training, and seminars (auditoriums 1 and 2 can be rented for large groups and smaller conference rooms can be rented for groups of 5-15 in size).
WHAT KIND OF SPACES ARE AVAILABLE?
café,
individual tables and seating areas for work, socializing, tutoring and meeting,
fireplace and outdoor patio,
indoor and outdoor playgrounds,
5-15-person conference spaces,
200-500-person auditorium spaces.
HOW DO I RESERVE A SPACE TO HOST AN EVENT?
Through 2022 we are building the facilities. Following construction, we will have a clear cost structure in place for the various spaces. Please contact info@steelecreekcommunityplace.org for space availability and pricing.
